Error:
I got this error message while working in Infopath 2010. The full error message is "The form cannot be rendered. This may be due to a misconfiguration of the Microsoft SharePoint Server State Service. For more information, contact your server administrator".
Reason:
This error comes if the Microsoft SharePoint Server State Service is not activated.

Solution:
You can activate by using PowerShell or by using the Configuration Wizards. In this post we will discuss about how we can activate using Configuration Wizards.

Follow below steps:
Step-1:
Open SharePoint Central Administration and click on Configuration Wizards as shown in the figure below:

Step-2:
From the Configuration Wizards page, click Launch the Farm Configuration Wizard. Then click on Start the Wizard.

Step-3:
On the services configuration page, in the Services section, select the State Service check box as shown in the figure below:


Step-4:
Click Next. Complete any other configuration steps for the server farm. And then click Finish.
